Athletes say they rely on noisy fans to keep them motivated

Traveling over 3,500 kilometres to watch a curling game may seem like a big change for a pair of ladies who are accustomed to a five minute commute to the rink.

However, it’s not something that phases dedicated curling fans - mothers Dianne McQuaid and Patsy Fullerton - who have traveled across Canada more than once to support their daughters and the sport.
