Customers of Café Koi, escaping the bitter cold, were treated to an evening of creative talent and education on Nov. 22 as Cause&Effect held it’s first Open Mic Night.

Cause&Effect, a Calgary-based non-profit group, has slowly developed this year with the aim of raising awareness of the plight of Sikhs, specifically in Punjab, a state in Northwest India.
