The morning of Monday, September 20, seemed like any other for Kent Hehr. Just the previous night, the ex-mayoral candidate still thought he had a good shot at winning the election. All it took was a cup of coffee at Tim Hortons and advice from friends for Hehr to make the decision to leave the race.

Davis Weisner, involved in the Ride of a Lifetime, was able to forget about his cancer and have fun because he was taken around the Race City track at over 200 km/h. When a racecar is veering through a winding track, it’s tough to think about anything but where the car is going.
