New expansion at Chinook Centre entices Calgary Shoppers.

Police are directing traffic to the open parking stalls, there are lineups to get into stores, crowds of people fill the food court and the sound of change dropping into cash register drawers can be heard throughout. This could easily be mistaken for Boxing Day madness; however, it is just another Saturday at Chinook Centre. The difference is now there are over 60 new stores to browse through, thanks to the new $280-million expansion that was recently completed.
